Late invoice reminders
Automatic reminders can be set for invoices with due dates nearing or overdue, for which you can create profiles and link them to the desired contacts, define when the notification is sent, to whom, and what its contents are.
One profile may have several different reminders. For example, you can create a profile, in which reminders are sent in 10 and 15 days after the due date of the invoice, or even before the due date.
Note! This feature is an add-on. You can activate it by going to Settings > Administration > Plan, Add-ons & Billing
After adding this feature to your site, go to Settings > Sales and finance > Late invoice reminders to activate it and set up different reminder profiles.
Click Add to create a new profile. Select to which address you want reminders to be sent and in what language.
Set how many days after or before the due date the reminder will be sent out.
Note! You can add different email aliases to choose from when creating a reminder profile and selecting a Sender for the reminder. Just go to Settings > Administration > E-mail setup and add the relevant information under Additional e-mail aliases.
When creating the content of the letter, you can use dynamic fields, for which the information is taken from the system automatically. Just click on the correct spot where you'd like to add the field in the content box. Then select the suitable dynamic field above the box.
You can add multiple reminders under one profile. Just click Add reminder and fill in the rules for the second (etc.) reminder.
You can also activate automatic reminders and the default profile, which will be added to each new contact.
The profile can be linked to a contact in the contact modify view or in the contacts list. Just tick the relevant contacts and click on Reminder profiles to select a suitable one.
If the contact has a profile assigned, it will be added automatically when the sales invoice is created.
Information on automated reminders is available in the sent e-mails report.
Reminders are sent every day at 8 AM.
To give site users access to send and modify reminders, go to Settings > Administration > Roles & Permissions, select the role and tick the option Modify sales and finance settings.
Note! The invoices created before activating reminders won't be taken into account. Also, all invoices must be sent from Scoro or marked as Sent in Scoro.
