Commission calculator
Commission calculator is a paid add-on. To add it to your site, go to Settings > Administration > Plan, add-ons and billing
You can set up the rules for the calculator under Settings > Sales and finance > Commission calculator
The Commission calculator will help you to set up an individual commission system for each user. This system will generate commission according to a set percentage of the revenue or received income. You can set the commission to be dependent on sales, the budget fulfilment, or on reaching other goals. Moreover, you can set a different commission for each product group. This enables the user to monitor his or her commission in real time.
How can I create a formula?
Click Add to add a new formula.
Select the user, time period (whether the commission is calculated montly or each quarter) and date range.
Negative sums are considered as zero – if you don't want to account unfulfilled goals in monetary value (deduct the negative sums from the positive sales results), you can consider them as zeros.
The type of the formula can be a query or a sum.
An example with a sum:
Let's say the sum is 500GBP
Choose, if the commission is calculated always or only if.
If you pick only if, you can set a percentage or a sum that needs to be fulfilled compared to the budget in order for the commission to be calculated. You can also add additional conditions.
An example with a query:
Set the percentage that is used as the basis of the calculation for all invoices, quotes or receipts. Decide, if the commission is calculated from the sum or cost. For invoices and quotes, the document sum without tax is used. For receipts, the sum means the actual sum received (including tax). Additional conditions are product groups, accounting objects and payment terms.
Select, whether the user is applicable for the commission always or only if.
If you select only if, you can set the required percentage or sum that needs to be fulfilled compared to the budget.
Save the formula.
The commission report function gives an overview of all the commissions your team members are due to receive or have already received, during a certain period.
You can find the commission report under Reports > Commission report.
