Turning quoted services into tasks
To turn the services or products on a quote quickly into tasks for you and your team, just open the quote and click the Use data on quote to ... button.
Just make sure you have linked the quote to a project.
Then click the option Create tasks.
From the list of tasks created, choose the services you want to delegate and untick the ones you wish to leave out (by default all the tasks are ticked).
By clicking on the button with three dots, you can select a person (or multiple, if you're using the possibility to assign tasks to multiple people) to assign the task to.
You can also change the person responsible for the task, just click on their initials.
You can rename the task by clicking on the name/description of the task.
Also assign or change the activity type to set different activities apart and see, what type of activities have taken the most of your team's time.
You can also change the planned duration of the tasks. The default duration is taken from the quote, e.g. 1 piece = 1h.
If you wish, you can change the description of the task.
If everything looks like it should, just click Create tasks and you're done!
The created tasks will appear in the quote detailed view (but also in the project and contact detailed view) under Planned activities...
...and in the task list of the team members, the tasks were delegated to.
