How to use Contacts
Contacts help you manage your contact database. Contacts can be clients, suppliers, competitors, etc. To manage your contact list more efficiently, use tags. Tags help you easily filter out the lists you want to see, and the ones you use most frequently, which you can save as bookmarks.
You can split the list of contacts in two:
Go to Site settings > Contacts
In the contact view (in this case, the company card), you can see the contact information, an overview of projects, planned activities, quotes, orders, invoices, messages sent, etc. – everything about the contact and what's been done related to them in a single view.
When you add a contact person/company, task, quote, or anything else from the contact view, it's automatically linked to that company.
To add a new related person for the company, click Add, then New person. Choose from existing ones enables you to link an already existing person from your Scoro database to that specific company.
Note! The related people can be given access to your Scoro site to see documents, be able to collaborate with your team on projects, and participate in discussions through Customer portal. Read more.
To delete the relation between the company and person, click on the x sign.
One company can have multiple persons linked to it (and vice versa), but only one of them is the main contact. The main contact is taken into account when compiling and sending out quotes, invoices, and other documents.
