The list of products and services
Adding products and services (creating rate cards) to the database is essential for compiling quotes, orders, sales invoices, purchase orders, and bills – in essence, to sell or buy products and services. So, before you start compiling any documents, get your product list sorted.
To get to the product list go to Settings > Sales and Finance > Products and services

The list of products and services gives you an overview of all the products and services you offer to your customers. Filter
the data in different ways and change the view
of list, as you see fit. Save the personalized list view as a bookmark or a default view
. You can customize the data displayed on the summary bar of the list. Read more on how to use filters.
If you select at least one product/service row, an additional bar is displayed for moving products to a group, marking them as inactive, etc. Inactive products do not pop up when selecting products on quotes, orders, and invoices.
Product or service groups
The list can be grouped by different products/services for an easy overview, but also group-based reporting. It’s especially helpful if you have many products and services in your database.
If you wish to divide products/services to groups, start by adding product groups. Note!
If you’re using one of Scoro Sales Hub plans, you can activate product groups under the Product add-ons
Then you can see another tab called Product groups
, where you can modify existing groups and create new ones.
Click + New
group in the Product groups
list view to create a group. Add a name to the group and also decide if it is the main group or belongs to another group. If so, start by adding the main groups first and then create smaller groups to link to the main groups.
To add products and services to groups, just open the product list, select the relevant products and from the additional menu bar select the group you wish to add them to.
Just click on the name of the product group to select the products under it, so you can make changes to all of them at once.
To change the name of a product group or modify it, just hover over the name of the group and click on the pencil icon.
Under the product add-ons tab, you can activate more options for products/services.Pictures
Product pictures are displayed in the product modify view. When appropriate templates have been created, you can create and e-mail product sheets in PDF format. Templates can be created under Settings > Site settings > PDF templates
When creating quotes, orders, and invoices, you can select products by product codes. Product codes are also used for syncing the product database.Linked products and services
Products can be linked in the product modify view. If product A has been linked with products B and C, then when creating a quote and selecting product A, the products B and C are also automatically added.Find out how to manage your stock.
