When managing projects with Scoro, there’s really nothing you Gantt do (was that too much?). With this update, we took our users’ feedback on board, improving the Gantt chart even further and tweaking the chart usability to fit various workflows.
See what we’ve been up to.
Gantt chart improvements
Full view of Gantt chart As much as working with the detailed project view gives you full power over everything related to the project, sometimes it makes all the difference to open the Gantt chart in a popup window to expand the chart and bring it into focus when planning your project timeline.
Fit the whole chart into view Use the new Zoom to fit button to quickly resize the Gantt chart to fit on your screen and see the full overview of the project in one glance, at the same time keeping all project-related information at your fingertips.
Automatic or manual rescheduling The Gantt chart automatically reschedules work for you in case of a delay in any stage of the project. Now, you can switch off the automatic rescheduling and choose to rearrange your project chart manually, double-checking each time entry while mapping out the new timeline.
Smaller, as important improvements...
Additions to Zapier integration In addition to building hundreds of Zaps based on most Scoro features, you can now create various Zaps triggering new or updated information in any of the custom modules on your Scoro site and send it to a third-party app. Or, the other way around, push new or update existing data from the other app to your custom module in Scoro. Creating a Zap between your preferred apps and Scoro’s custom modules is an easy way of doing more with your business-specific data collected on your Scoro site.
Custom modules update You can now view your custom data by the date it was modified by either filtering the list or adding this information to the list in a separate (sortable) column. This way it’s easy to find items that have been recently changed, or vice versa, the items that have lingered on the list for too long without any change at all.
Projects: User filter always visible In Scoro, users can see and do things based on their permissions. Due to complex interlinking in the product, we sometimes find conflicts in permissions hindering some use-cases. We’ve taken care of one of these. The user filter is now always visible in the project list, no matter your permissions related to other users’ projects. For example, if the user doesn’t have permission to view the projects of other users, they can still filter out the projects where they are a member.
Quote to tasks: Outsourced products/services We thought we did a good thing by leaving out outsourced services from the process of turning quoted services into tasks. Turns out we overlooked some use-cases and to make things right, we put things back to how they were before – both in-house and outsourced services are now turned into tasks when using the feature Quote to tasks. This is needed in a case where some roles in your team are covered by freelancers, for example, and you want to see that differentiation in reporting and billing.
Finance documents export When exporting financial documents like quotes, invoices, bills, etc.), the document number (in addition to its ID) is now included in the export file to make differentiating documents easier.

Planner improvements. Instead of deleting already scheduled time entries one by one when plans change, adapt quickly and easily remove or reschedule time entries in bulk. Group tasks by users or phases, for example, to plan assignments according to your workflows.
Custom features. Build your own custom lists and board views, allowing you to collect and analyze the data specific to your business.
Not to worry, if your Scoro site hasn’t been updated yet, the update is rolling out gradually over the next few weeks.
