Go to Settings > My settings > E-mail to set up your e-mail and create e-mail templates.
If you wish to see sent e-mails (in addition to the reports) also in your e-mail server, use the SMTP option under Profile settings (if supported by your email server).
This is also useful for minimizing the chance of sent emails qualified as spam. You can use the BCC field and add the e-mail address where you want to send a copy of the email.
Also, you can use standard templates to save time by not creating every e-mail from scratch, when sending out different documents from Scoro. You can always modify the contents of the letter before sending it out.
When setting up the templates, use dynamic fields (these fields take their data from the system and change accordingly) to easily add the information available in Scoro. For example, you can add the invoice number in the template for invoice e-mails, so the system always includes the invoice number in the e-mail, when sending an invoice.
Use dynamic fields also when creating your signature to make your life easier. When you have entered your details to Scoro, these dynamic fields fetch that information automatically from the system. First, click on the dynamic fields (e.g. #name#) to add them, and then click on the Preview button to see what they'll look like.
In addition to sending PDF-documents from Scoro (by pushing the Send button in the relevant document detailed view, or using the list view), you can quickly compile and send emails using Quick actions on your site header.
Just click on the Quick actions icon, then select the option New email.
Select a contact, fill out the subject (and the body of the email, of course), and click Send.
You can also save the email as a draft and come back to it later. You can find all your email drafts under Sent items (just use the filters to filter out email drafts).
